Making a backup of a new DragonOS Pi64 build to share which has the latest SigDigger, Gqrx, SDR++, SDRAngel etc.. one thing I found interesting is that the Airspy HF+ works in source compiled SDRAngel and it’s still all based on 20.04 w/ 5.4 kernel. 🤔
Recorded a video on how to get up and running with the tetra kit and tetra player, but I’ve muted the decoded audio per request. You’ll still get the point as to how it works. GNU Radio, SigDigger, the Hackrf, RTLSDR, and more all have a role in making this possible. Stay tuned.
Decoding and listening to Tetra near real time thanks to Larry’s Tetra Kit + Tetra Kit Player. As audio is captured and sent to a raw file the Tetra Kit Player is monitoring and starts playing the audio. I’ll probably add the player in the next ISO, but leave npm on the user.
So after all this time of it being in DragonOS Focal, I finally personally got to see “Larry’s Tetra Lit” working with successful audio decoded and sent to /raw. After that I ran the raw2wav script and played some .wav files. I never doubted it work, just cool to see it myself.
Today I'm happy to release the beta version of SDR++ Server! It works with all devices SDR++ supports. Since it's beta it's still missing compression and VFO+FFT mode.
As a demo, here is a LimeSDR being streamed over WiFi at 16MS/s
Get it here: sdrpp.org/nightly#SDR#SDRPP
Plugged the Airspy HF+ Discovery into DragonOS Focal for some initial testing. SigDigger, Gqrx, and SDR++ had no issues. SDRAngel did not work. Only an assumption, but I think it’s something with that program itself and not the kernel/libusb. Thank you! @lambdaprog@airspy_com
Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that @AngelRF49375726 is attempting to port SigDigger to Windows. He managed to run suscli radio with RTL-SDR and listen to radio broadcasts, which is a huge breakthrough. More news soon!
One of the new things in Kismet 2022-01 - Wardriving mode!
Wasn't Kismet already for wardriving? Sure, but lots of people are trying to run it in busy environments on tiny HW.
WD mode turns on a ton of ram-saving options and optimizations.
I may have found an answer to my question the other day. While searching for Nano info I came across this, techtoytinker.com/ares
After burning their 64GB Nano image I find that they also upgraded to 20.04 but do not have the QT issue I have. I’ll have to study this more.
Well now that I have this cool adapter that was in the box the entire time.. I can turn the PinePhone into the DragonPhone SDR server w/ SDR++ and SigDigger simultaneously. Eventually I’ll get a SIM card and try it over cellular. @thepine64@ADI_News@GSGlabs
